The Horseshoe Pit is a Building which was released on September 12th, 2010. It provides the Pioneer with a free horseshoe throw. Based on how well the Pioneer throws, they will win points which can then be cashed in for prizes. It will cost 1 Horseshoes for each extra try. The Pioneer will also get one free throw by visiting Neighbors and playing theirs. If a Neighbor plays, then the Pioneer receives 2 XP and 50 Coins. The Horseshoe Pit is available for purchase in the Market for 2,500 Coins and 20 Wood. When bought and placed on the Homestead, the Pioneer recieves 5 XP. While constructing the Horseshoe Pit, there is a chance of finding rare collectibles from Collections.

Prior to October 15th, 2010 the Horseshoe Pit required special building objects to construct. On the switch, each special item was traded for 10 of the respective building items. Original construction materials:
