Geodes are Varmints which appear when harvesting Lichen, Silversword, Recycle Bins, Steel Forges, Tin Forges, Silver Forges, and Silver Veins. Addionally, the appear when collecting the daily bonus from the Gem Mine.
Once cracked, a Geode will turn into either a Rocks or a Cracked Geode.
A Pioneer can only have two Geodes on their Homestead at a time, so one must fully crack a Geode in order to get another to appear.

- Something's Rumblin'!, Part IV of V is a Goal which requires the Pioneer to fully crack seven Geodes. Note: Any Geodes cracked while Goals are active do count towards this total.
- Something's Rumblin'!, Part V of V is a Goal which requires the Pioneer to collect five Cracked Geodes by fully cracking Geodes.
